Spectral Lamps are stable, high quality sources of discrete spectral lines of various gases and metal vapors with high brightness and spectral purity. Atomic Spectra are produced by creating an arc between electrodes and provide stable results by virtue of the high purity and constant output.
Spectral Lamps may be used in spectroscopic applications to set a reference point for the spectrometer. Using a spectral lamp as a calibration lamp to test the detector and track any measurement discrepancies from the detector.
Helium and Neon are available in the Noble Gas group as well as Sodium and Mercury in Metal Vapors.
Base type: screw base E27 and S8AES base. Lifetime of spectral lamps is 100 hours.
